Hey everyone,

Can someone please upload an SSDT.aml that I can use for my i7-2700K (stock speeds not over overclocked) and Asus P8Z77-M Pro motherboard?

I have absolutely no idea what i'm doing when I come to editing these files.

Thanks,

MrEngles

look at mine a page back and just remove the P-States on the high end you don't need (unless your running 4.8ghz) as it's a generic CPU only SSDT

Only problem I can't edit the file. Wish it was just that easy for me... Your talking with a noob here. =)

What is your max turbo ratio/multiplier? It'll be a simple thing for me to delete.

Is this what you mean? Clock 3.5Ghz Turbo 3.9GHz

Thanks MacMan. I did exactly as you said and worked flawless. I have the GA-Z68XP-UD5 (F5 bios) and Intel Core i7-2600K.

Kext attached.

Instructions:
1) Unzip kext
2) Run terminal, cd /to/path/where/extracted
3) sudo chown -R root:wheel MSRDumper.kext
4) sudo kextload MSRDumper.kext
5) Open Console.app and browse to FILES -> /private/var/log -> kernel.log
6) You should see MSRDumper output
7) Run Benchmark Tool of your choice, watch the multiplier
8) Copy the first output with the registers and some changing multipliers from the log
9) Post it here

After testing you can
10) sudo kextunload MSRDumper.kext

You don't need to install it in /E/E or /S/L/E.
