Hi guys newbie here,

I'm trying to get OS X 10.9.4 working on my Asus Formula VII with Intel's i7 4790K CPU.

My build:

i7 4790K - using intel graphics for now, no graphics card plug in.
Asus Formula VII - Bio settings, Optimise Default, AHCI, Rapid boot= Disable
Kingston HyperX beast 8GB Ram
Corsair CX750M power supply

Have a EVGA 750Ti card but will to get the installer going first.

I'v try this method using UniBeast:

http://www.tonymacx86.com/user-buil...s-maximus-vi-formula-i7-4770k-hd-7870-x2.html

Also try this method using Clover:

http://www.tonymacx86.com/mavericks...-how-install-os-x-mavericks-using-clover.html

Both with no luck, I keep getting stuck at boot screen (grey apple logo with spinning wheel) with UniBeast.

and stops here using Clover, heres a screen shot:

What I'm I doing wrong?

If can help would be much appreciated

I have the same motherboard and cpu and I'm having the same problem. I've tried different boot flags but I can only get it to boot into safe mode. If I just let it boot regularly it gets stuck at IOBluetooth failed to load or something like that(I'm not at home now so I cant get the exact line). Help would be very much appreciated.

I used multibeast and I had that same problem. This worked for me:

1. Go to System/Library/Extentions and delete anything with the word Bluetooth and INTELHD in it.

2. Restart and you should be good to go.

thanks for the reply,

stupid question.. sorry new to this..

Do I open /System/Library/Extensions, by using Terminal?

cd /System/Library/Extensions

Do I open /System/Library/Extensions, by using Terminal?

cd /System/Library/Extensions

Thats one way to do it, but that would be more difficult. Do this:

1. Open a finder -->>> Go to menu bar click finder then preferences --->> General -->> Show there items on the desktop and select Hard Disks

2. Open the disk in which you installed the Mac OS and then navigate and follow my previous instructions

Having a lot of trouble with audio and bluetooth. I bought the GMYLE Bluetooth 4.0 Adapter and that does not work either. :banghead::banghead: I've tried a lot so solutions on this forum for audio none of which have brought any results. I might have to wait Yosemite to come out to see if anything changes then.

awesome thanks, will try this out after work.

Have you try this:

Quick Fix for Onboard Audio on 9 Series Motherboards

Yep man I've tried that. I researched a little online and Youtube and found that some people who had hackintoshs got theirs to work through a usb audio adapter so I went on amazon and purchased one and it will come on friday. I'll update you guys further when I get it. If you are wondering this is the item that i bought:
