hi, i am form Venezuela. Sorry for my bad English. This is my first hackintosh build

This machine was assembled by me this week, I still have much work to make, I'm Starting @ lion with version 10.7, let's see if next week I try the 10.7.4 version, so now the machine is extremely stable, thanks to the boot helper ivybridge smooth installation of lion

system: Max OS X Lion 10.7 with Unibeast, BridgeHelper 3.0 and MultiBeast 4.4.1

I'm happy with this hackintosh, it feels like a real Mac Pro, Final Cut runs smoothly, Pro Tools HD, Photoshop CS5,

I still have much to learn about it, so it would be very good to have in this post criticism and advice, South America greetings form :D

I installed directly lion, the flash drive I did with unibeast
http://tonymacx86.blogspot.com/2011/10/unibeast-install-mac-os-x-lion-using.html

could run through bridgehelper
http://www.tonymacx86.com/viewtopic.php?f=168&t=59052
http://tonymacx86.blogspot.com/2012/04/bridgehelper-30-modified-1073-kernel.html

with that lion ran the installation without any problem, but there is a problem, lion was installed on my hard drive but would not start, so take my boot disk and connect it to my mac pro, there ran the bridehelper and enable this boot disk to reassemble it, I start the operating system without any kind of problem, I recommend having a second machine at hand, as a mac pro or hackintosh

I never had to install snow leopard

multibeast then ran this simple configuration and everything worked great, audio, ethernet,

you could say I'm a lucky, here in my country, it is difficult to get parts, no variety, and basically assemble this machine with the little that I could get, and everything worked smoothly, and with a very easy installation, of course thanks all this great forum and people who make it possible

jpa thanks, right now I'm seeing that wifi card and Bluetooth adapter to buy, and would like to use the wireless mouse iMagic, soon I hope to see more Latinos in this forum.

Is sleep working too? I'm thinking to buy this Motherboard and the last build I did using an Asus P5Q Pro Turbo needed a modified custom bios. Everything worked perfectly except I was never able to get sleep working.

hey man, really nice work!
i have the Asus p8z77-v le and the intel I7 3770K, and im trying to do the same but no sucess, any chance you could posts the steps you made for getting it to worked?

or can you help me in private?

Yes, please update you OP with your method of installation. It doesn't have to be a step-by-step if you used the tonymacx86 UniBeast Installation Guide. Just list what you did to your BIOS and anything in addition to the UniBeast Guide.

Helping in private (with PM's) is highly discouraged because others will be helped, too, with Forum posts.

if you want to use lion OSX then you must have snow leopard installed first right?

Popular question that answered in the UniBeast Installation Guide, but here's a post of mine with several ways to do it. viewtopic.php?p=377330#p377330

well going to a friend could be a good solution, only that i don't have friends with mac's :p

the other solution which is installing SL and then upgrading is not possible for me since i have Ive Bridge, then im kinda stuck.

but basically you're saying, that you can create a thumb usb from latest version of SL or from Lion it self. what if i buy Lion's usb thumb directly, then i could install it without using SL?

Thanks.
