I can only boot with -f

I can only boot with -f or -x, if i don't i get the still waiting on root device error
AND
my sound doesn't work

BTW i am on yosemite and i have already installed it to my SSD
I have trim enabler and stuff
I was restarting fine until i reinstalled ALC 892 again
Please help

Still waiting for root device can be caused by the wrong USB selection in your BIOS.

If you have settings for Legacy USB Support set it to Enabled.

If you have settings for XHCI Handoff set it to Enabled.

If you have settings for EHCI Handoff set it to Enabled.

I am not booting from the usb though i already installed and ran multibeast
i am booting from my yosemite ssd
 
I have used AppleACPIPlatform.kext from Multibeast for Mavericks and it worked for me.
Wouldn't hurt to try i guess
 
Just a brief feedback: for some reason everything is well now. I actually don't know what I did, suddenly it started working. I have the main stuff running quite good: sound, network (both NICs), Bluetooth, external WIFI and the GeForce GTX 750. No reason to moan at the moment. It's fast...:shifty:
