HP Probook Installer Clover Edition

I have HP 4530s with taped 9285 wifi. So, very stable with feb. version of PBI.

I updated to newly posted PBI.

acpibatterymanager.kext 1.55 cause kernel panic and restart after awake from sleep.

So I have to roll back 1.53 version of previous version PBI.

Does new battery kext need relevant DSDT edit?

Install debug version of ACPIBatteryManager then create a new thread to report a new thread. Post log lines in Console related to Battery.

Do a fresh install. I'm using 1.55 on my 4530s. No issue on wake from sleep.

You always need an up-to-date patched DSDT.

Ok, I did fresh install except generating config.plist due to Smbios value.

Dsdt and ssdt are regenerated.

I'm now use 1.53 version of battery kext with no panic at all.

However, there were panics with 1.55 ver.

No problem here. You must have something else wrong with your system.

If you're getting a KP, post quality photo of the entire screen showing it.

Recently came across a config.plist that lets me boot a 8560w with a nVidia Quadro 2000M. (attached)

Any suggestions on how to merge your excellent work with the 8560w +AMD with the functioning graphics settings for the nVidia?
Obviously I have the hardware and would be glad to work with, or take it on if you could point me in the right direction.

Thoughts?

Looks like settings relevant to nvidia are just Graphics/Inject/Nvidia=true, and Graphics/LoadVBios=true.

Note, I've been testing sleep with my 4530s. It has bluetooth (AR3011+AR9285 on AR5B195) re-enabled (previously I had it taped, but planning to sell it this spring... finally).

Using IOath3kfrmwr.kext, there is no issue on wake from sleep. Using latest battery kext (there was nothing changed from 1.53 to 1.55 regarding sleep anyway).

But for a while, I accidently had the old "known to be buggy" BTFirmwareUploader.kext installed, and did experience a restart on wake from sleep because of that kext. No restarts/kps on wake from sleep since removing it.

So, all installed and booting perfectly everything working as it should minus the wifi.

The wifi shows as being on, however can't find a network.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks
