Did you try this patches from 4530s?
See all patches in attached file. Use DSDT Auto-Patcher.app e.g.

But as i understand, you use series 7 chipset HM76 and 3d-generation CPU. This fix will not help you, i probably think.
You must use Macbook pro 9.1 definition at least, because it uses hm76 and Ivy bridge cpu;s

Hi there! I really appreciate the work you're doing for all of us, but I have a question regarding this DSDT you included in your 4540S pack.

I installed kexts, but when I put the DSDT in Extra, I get a black screen. I can hear sound (which is great!). I'm running Sandy Bridge with HD3000. Do I need a different DSDT, since you have Ivy with HD4000? Could a mortal like me run some software and make my own DSDT?

Thanks.

I tried, bit it didn't work. I guess I'll just wait for the new 4540S Probook Installers. I'm getting tired of this...
If you find any way to get this working, please send me a PM ;)

I don't have the hardware, and don't plan on buying new laptop for a while... so that PM won't be coming...

hello corebuilder

i was wondering if you already found solutions to get your 4540s to work since i am having similar problems with my friends new probook (4540s i3 3110m ivy with bios version f40)

i tried many things with different versions of the probook installer (6.1beta and the newest 6.1.4) …but without any positive results :(

i cant get power management and hd 4000 to work
