which details ?

Details about the problem. Include screen shots if needed.

Things like:
- is it a combo jack?
- what do you see in SysPrefs->Sound?
- is it detected when you plug it in?
- what exactly do you mean by "not working"
- no audio can be heard?
- audio is poor quality?
- audio is low volume?
- what kind of device are you plugging in?
- audio still comes from speakers?
- detected if you plug it in before booting?
- etc/etc.

Do some testing and experimentation.... and provide details on the problem.

If you have the device plugged in... detection problem.
You could try another device...
Or you could look for updated XML/pin configs for your audio codec (maybe look at current work/files in AppleALC).

There is nothing about my audio codec on the web (strange!)

FYI, in El Capitan I fixed this problem on the 430 G3 by switching to layout-id 5 (which has the same codec version). Speakers, headphone jack, and internal mic all work.

It is Conexant CX20724.
