Pre install does the dsdt and voodoo patch you linked go in the same places or are there special spots using this method?

Clover loads DSDT from /EFI/Clover/ACPI/patched/DSDT.aml.

Not sure what "voodoo patch" you're referring to.

Not a patch. Kexts for Clover injection go in /EFI/Clover/kexts/10.9.
