The config.plist is not correct for HD3000 1600x900. Follow the guide carefully. Choose the config.plist appropriate for your hardware.

I have the same Problems with an 8460p - 2520m .
Tried all Options and all Install Guides. I think the Problem ist the Chipset.
Other 8460 Notebooks, with other Chipset had no Problems.

Not a problem. But you do need to follow the guide carefully and use the correct config.plist.

All 8x60 are 6-series chipset, correct?
