Unfortunately it always will be!
This bios can produce semi-brick, but always fixable!
The best bios of camiloml, for us is this (unlocked menues+NO Withelist...you can put all wifi card you want):

With this version (F1A), you can save without fear, for example Swichable Graphics Fixed/Dynamic, without CMOS error!
If you want my advice use this, and do not change never bios settings.

I am having the same problem as above @mickey1979
I tried changing the graphics card setting from the bios you mentioned above and boom. Blinking caps lock and the laptop won't turn on. I tried removing the battery and the back panel, nothing is happening

ei mickey, i was reading on the legacy tonymac forum some posts from the summer and your hp laptop with the SNBuffer etc,
i am trying to find people with similar computers, i have a dv6 i7 + 6770, etc and i am working on a solution for GMUX....
I have been patching dsdt tables from original macbook, and now I am trying to get a framebuffer copy/sync kext.
if you have and experience or wisdom, i would appreciate your any information, also, if you have a solution with fixing you bios
after getting wrecked, would you be interested in testing a coreboot port?

i have DV6 I7 - 2670 QM HD3000 Graphic,
thank you very much, every things goes very nice, but when i leave the laptop for awhile it goes to sleep and did not wakeup , any solution, and also for USB3 and wireless adapter?

Disable your Radeon in BIOS. HD3000 should work... You may need DSDT patches.
