how to spoof AMD rx6900xt XTXH 0x73af to XTX 0x73bf in config.plist?

Dear Forum,

running Monterey 12.1 on my z390 designare with i9-9900K dual boot with windows 11.
although as of 12.1 it was mentioned the 6000 is native supported this apparently does not count for the XTXH version.
looked at replace the bios by XTX version but this is not possible due XTXH and XTX use a different CHIP and would break the GPU.
there is already talked a lot about everywhere but could not find a clear example that will allow successful spoofing the 0x73af into 0x73bf

at this moment the Monterey is working quite good so looks some support is working but the 6900 is showed as "AMD Radeon Navi21 16 GB"

Geekbench does not see the graphic card.

Now it is working, the problem is that I had the monitor at a frequency of 165Hz and apparently it only supports up to 120Hz (My old Vega64 could use the screen at 165Hz without problems) Many thanks!! Without your help I would never have done it! Great stuff! Glad it works :) Out of interest...

Are you on OpenCore or Clover?

You basically need to find 2 paths. The first is the ACPI path to your card, and the second is the path for the device properties.

You can find these using IORegistry explorer and Hackintool. With IORegistry Explorer, do a search for GFX0.

From here, you can use an SSDT included in the OpenCore package or build yourself, then spoof it in the config.plist, as long as you have Lilu and WEG.

what is your card model? i have had my aorus 6900xt 73af works oob on big sur
