How to enable 'Kaby Lake' Intel 6xx Graphics (10.12.6+)

I was able to fix my issue (HD630 igpu not working when Nvidia card installed, post #330) by using iMac18,3 system definition, but with an iMac17 board-id (Mac-65CE76090165799A). Maybe this will help someone else.

Bad idea to mix board-id and model names.
Just use iMac17,1 if that's what the intention is.

I'm glad I'm not the only one. intel hd 630 not working after the 10.13.2 supplemental 17c205 no matter what I do. There are no web drivers for nvidia yet either so the web drivers are stuck off.
Where you able to get your system back on Intel? I'm back on Intel after the 10.13.3. upgrade, Clover upgraded, and some changes.... Let me know if you need some help

I've been trying to use my onboard graphics (Intel HD630), when I boot the system without inject intel, the graphics look good but the memory is only 14MB under 'About this mac'. When I use inject intel, the full memory is available but the graphics look really poor. Any ideas?

Edit: graphics are better now with inject intel, but memory is still low at 14MB. Have attached config.plist

Your settings are invalid.
You're using a Skylake FakeID (0x19168086) with a Kabylake ig-platform-id (0x59120000).
Your result (no graphics drivers loading) is expected.

I see, so should I be using a coffeelake ID's? Since I'm on an i3-8100.

Edit: 0x59120000 for Intelgfx fakeid gives me better graphics but only 14mb of memory. I know I'm way off here, do you know what ID's I should be using for my processor? Thanks!

You can check what the native ID is by looking at your misc/preboot.log.
I looked at the one you captured Jan 29, and it appears you have Intel IGPU disabled, as it is not listed by Clover:

So... you will also need to enable your IGPU in BIOS if you plan to use it.

But maybe your plan is to use Nvidia only... in which case, your posts here are off-topic.

New debug is attached, yeah I had a GTX 1050 installed but I've removed it for now to try and get gfx working on the onboard.

The ioreg you attached cannot be opened with IORegistryExplorer v2.1. Must collect with IORegistyExplorer v2.1, not newer versions.
