There's a discounted MSI X299 board for $224.00, after $63 "promo code" coupon and $30 MIR:
MSI X299 GAMING PRO CARBON AC LGA 2066 Intel X299 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.1 ATX Intel Motherboard

Note: use of the "promo code" requires being on Newegg's promotion email list.

I was able to purchase an Aquantia 5 Gb NIC for ~$60 last November; the ~$70 10 Gb version was sold out at the time.
https://www.anandtech.com/show/1206...g-network-cards-for-59-and-69-on-black-friday
Current price for the 10 Gb Aquantia card shows as $147.76, with a minimum quantity of 20:

The Aquantia 5 Gb NIC is recognized in macOS 10.13.2 and later, but does not actually function, as of yet.
Haven't tried with a fresh install of 10.13.3, to see whether the same work-around for the Aquantia 10 Gb NIC also works with the
Aquantia 5 Gb NIC.

This is great, and will be a boon to anyone who builds a hackintosh. Thank you for posting this, and for all the great things you do for the community!

I would like to point out that if someone doesn't have 10.13.3 available there are 10GBE cards available that come with kexts and work natively in macOS and on Hackintoshes:

A lot of folks know about the Smalltree 10 GBE card, but it's really expensive (over $600). What folks don't know is that a company called Chelsio has a 10 GBE card with current drivers that can be had for about $270-350 (the Chelsio T520-BT), and we've had good reports so far on it's performance on macOS. Yes, that's a bit more than the Asus card, but it's way less than the Smalltree card.

Just in case someone doesn't have 10.13.3 available, more details on the Chelsio and other 10GBE cards can be had, as well for the costs, depending on how technical you might be. Details can be had at the the 10GBE thread: https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/high-sierra-native-support-for-10gb-ethernet.239690/

BTW... anybody who tried that one?:

The Asus Aquantia 10GBit NIC runs extremely hot. Maybe Gigabyte did a better job?

plz help my problem..

I don‘t know what is the source of your problem.

Try to provide a detailed bug report.

Looks like an error in your EFI folder or BIOS settings.

Cheers,

KGP

Followed your guide and created install usb. and BIOS setting.
However, it does not boot usb.
I think there is something wrong with the BIOS settings.

I doubt the Gigabyte will run cooler - it's really the same card. But sure, you can try it, it might. Here in the US, the Gigabyte card is not available. So, I have two Asus/Aquatia cards, and they seem fine. As for the Chelsio, yes, someone has tried it, check the post at the 10GBE thread, post #211. However, all of these 10GBE these cards do run hot.....
