I updated my BIOS to 9QKT39A, but it still looks like it is legacy, since I don't see any UEFI related options in the BIOS.

The issue still remains - when I boot from the USB, clover only shows the USB disk that contains the Mojave installer and not the hard drive. If I boot from the installer, and open terminal, I could see the hard disk mounted with Mojave installed as APFS. So, it looks like the installation has gone through fine. It's just that clover could not detect the APFS partition.
