Made my USB Key with UniBeast 5.0.2. and a fresh download of Maverick from App Store.

Followed everything from

100% Working. Gigabyte H61N-USB3, Core i3 3225 (Ivy Bridge), Mountain Lion 10.8.2

with the exception of using 10.9 instead of 10.8.2.

I get to the Chimera(?) boot screen, with icons to boot from my OS X Install USB, and the System drive it installed to that time it worked.

tried

-v -x -f GraphicsEnabler=Yes PCIRootUID=1

tried

-v -x -f GraphicsEnabler=No PCIRootUID=1

Tried leaving PCIRootUID=1 off.

I get a flash of the gray apple logo and then the machine restarts.

Any ideas? Anyone?

Is it any better with Yosemite?

I have 2 of these MB, so getting them working is important to me.

When using a traditional boot loader like Chimera or Chameleon the Installation drive partition must be 1TB or less. You may need the Boot0 guide to fix the 4k sector issue:
http://www.tonymacx86.com/25-boot0-error-official-guide.html

I would do the installation from the Mavericks install guide and use the DSDT option in MultiBeast along with the correct DSDT for your motherboard/BIOS version from the DSDT data base:

Install the Intel Graphics Patch for Mixed configurations (Under Drivers > Graphics in MultiBeast) this will get your HD4000 graphics working on a motherboard designed to use HD3000 (patch is only for using with OS X)

Thank You for the reply!!!!
I needed to use the boot0 fix on my Probook 4530 even though the drive was only 1TB. So I'm good if I get that far.

My current problem is that the UNIBEAST Installer is bombing out after flashing only a second of the Apple screen. Then the whole machine restarts. It will wait patiently on the Chimera(?) install screen for hours. But picking any option now bombs with any combination of "-" commands.

I did manage to get through the installation once, but could never get the machine to boot to drive, even with the unibeast USB Boot that worked. So I never got far enough to try multibeast or boot0 fix.

For some reason I'm dying after setting up the unibeast key, which reports no errors.

I have an Apple Lion Key installer purchase from Apple. But I don't have any 10.8 backup installations to try anything else.

So I'm limited to LION, Maverick, or Yosemite as base installer.
