Recently I started to try Hackintosh. I installed Catalina 10.15.4 booted by Clover on my laptop, then change the boot loader to OpenCore 0.5.9, and updated the system to 15.5.5 through the App Store.
I bought a USB-C to DP adapter and tested it on Windows 10. It worked well and the display is connected to Intel HD 630. But it doesn't work on Catalina.
I've tried to set ig-platform-id to 591B0000, 59160000, 591C0005, but all failed with black screen. If ig-platform-id is assigned 59160000 or 591C0005, the system will reboot automatically when I plug/unplug the adapter. While with 591B0000, It has no response.
Besides the internal display, there is no other under the connectors of IGPU in IORegistryExplorer. I've tried to enable all the connectors, but it doesn't make any sense.

I've tried many solutions to similar problems proposed in this forum, but none of them works for me. Could anyone help me?

System Info:
laptop: HP Pavilion 15-cb0xxx
CPU: i5-7300HQ
GPU: HD 630 + GTX-1050
OS: Catalina 10.15.5
Bootloader: OpenCore 0.5.9

Thank you telling me that. I don't know it's a new problem, cause I didn't test it on previous versions of Catalina.

I used the AppleIntelCFLGraphicsFramebuffer.kext from 10.15.4 and the HDMI is working again

I replaced the AppleIntelKBLGraphicsFramebuffer.kext with previous version, but it still didn't work.

The IORegistry shows there is no other display recognized.

I use 591C0005 for ig-platform-id, but the value of "AAPL,DisplayPipe" isn't 9 which is listed in whatevergreen's manual:
[1] busId: 0x05, pipe: 9, type: 0x00000400, flags: 0x000003C7 - ConnectorDP
I don't know whether it is a problem or they are not the same property.

Awesome! It works for my hackintosh as well.
