You're using the wrong version of WhateverGreen.
You have 1.2.3, but -igfxfbdump is only available in 1.2.4.
As I mentioned before, you must built it from sources as 1.2.4 is not currently released.
Sorry but I am a noob on this. Is Xcode required to build the kext?

Got this error while trying to build it. Any ideas?

It seems you forgot to read the README for build instructions...
As per README, you must copy the DEBUG build of Lilu.kext to the root of your WhateverGreen project folder.

Did it. How does it look? Screenshot shows what happens when I unplug the cable and then plugging it back in. I then get an "out of range" message on my converter.

Strange (new?) probelm I notice about your ioreg. The QE kext is not loading. Did you delete AppleIntelBDWGraphics.kext?

As usual. Laptop won't boot with that kext. No solution for this...

You should probably forget about it then...
Deleting kexts is not a solution.

diffmerge between native and patched framebuffer bits (in ioreg WhateverGreen node), show patches being applied as expected:

Shows that way <00 08 00 00> in connector-type associated with each framebuffer@1 @2

I want to make framebuffer@2 <00 04 00 00>. How is it possible?
