Hi,
I own a Laptop with Intel HD 5500 graphics. My sound works fine with patched AppleHDA for ALC 233 Codec. My HDMI Video output works just fine, but not the Audio.

Is there any Guide for the HD5500? The first post in this forum section is not very clear to me.
Which of these commands do I use and are there any DSDT edits necessary?

Thanks very much for help.

I attached my Clover folder.

OK, I installed the SSDT-HD5500 to Clover/ACPI/patched. I didn't need to update my config.plist, because it already contains the right ig-platform I'd for accelerated graphics.

But my HDMI Audio still does not work. It still only shows my internal speakers and no hdmi output at all, video output works just fine.

Do you have an idea, why it still does not work?

Thanks

Ignored Post #2 instructions.
Framebufffer edit required.
See Problem Reporting, Post #1, HDMI Audio AppleHDA. Post to linked thread.

Do I use the same framebuffer for the hd5500 as the 4600?

And do I need a native AppleHDA (I have a patched AppleHDA for ALC233 Codec)?

Thanks

I tried to follow @Rehabman 's guide for laptop HDMI audio: http://www.tonymacx86.com/el-capita...dmi-dp-audio-sandy-ivy-haswell-broadwell.html

However, I have some problems with it.

1. I looked into my ioReg and saw that I don't have an IGPU reference, for me it's GFX0. Inside that I can find the AppleIntelFramebuffer references. My Laptop display seems to be connected to Framebuffer 0 and the HDMI devices are connected to Framebuffer 2.

2. Using the patch to rename B0D3 to HDAU, my computer stops booting at "still waiting for root device".

I attached my ioReg and my Clover folder.

Thank you

No HDMI audio fixes present.
No disrespect intended; if you use RehabMan method, post to his thread
Otherwise, see Post #2.
