Haswell HDMI Audio

I'm confused in that case as this is one of the first lines on post1...
The native AppleHDA,kext does not support HD4600 HDMI audio. A patch AppleHDA is required. The patch changed in 10.9.4. A new patch enables HD4600 HDMI for 10.9.4 and also works on all previous Mavericks AppleHDA.kext. dsdt/ssdt HDMI audio is required for any version of working OS X HDMI audio including HD4600.

I have a GA-Z87MX-DH ver. 1.1 with F6 BIOS and I have tried to follow the instructions for installing the 8 series HDMI audio ssdt method, which I think is correct for this motherboard.

I am using the latest patched AppleHDA.kext for 892, installing with the latest Multibeast.

Note: I see for step 1 there are 3 different SSDT-1.aml’s. So, I can’t be sure which one is correct. Are they all correct or only one?

I use Kext Wizard to rebuild the cache.

I use Chameleon Wizard to drop SSDT.

I have not as yet changed the default HDA settings that Multibeast assigns (e.g., Enable HDMI).

None of these seem to work? Indeed, I lose all audio support and can only restore it be deleting the SSDT from Extra, rebooting, and installing AppleHDA.kext for 892 again

I have tried using the patched hdmi-audio-892_applehda.kext.zip at the bottom of page 1 of the instructions. But this doesn’t help.

What am I doing wrong?

Thanks in advance!
FW.

Hello again, I managed to get everything loaded correctly but i have this weird thing happening. Whenever I play something audio, after it finishes the audio stop working on the motherboard itself, switching to HDMI brings the audio back but to the TV as expected. After a sleep/wake cycle the same thing happens, but not all the time, which baffles me because I cant pinpoint the problem.

I used the DSDT patching method but changed a step, I didn't use the clean compile, I used the patch for my motherboard made by PJALM(v1.0 for bios f7 I believe) after seeing that the clean compile was made by PJALM(maintained by you) as well. Should I use the clean compile instead? Can the SMBios cause problems?

One other thing I saw a thing in the script that I thought it shouldn't be there, maybe I'm wrong

"c# Maintained by: toleda for: github.com/toleda/audio_hdmi_8series" should the c before the # be there? can it cause problems?

I attached everything I used for this.View attachment gmp.zip

AppleHDA.kext problem on certain 8 series motherboards. AU Lab errors with "Audio Overload"; no idea what the cause is, no fix at this time.
