Hackintosh Stuck on white screen

recently i built a computer and wanted to make it a hackintosh so i tried to install mountain lion so i got stuck on the white screen so i didn't find a solution but i recently tried mavericks and that didn't work
some on please help!

I had a similar issue, I got around it using the boot switch:

Mode=1920x1080x32

replace the above with whatever is the native resolution of your monitor.

When I did that, it still did not work

what is your graphic card ?

try boot flag like GraphicsEnabler=Yes/No or PCIRootUID =0/1

I'm using the motherboard graphics card
but none of the boot flags worked

You probably have one of the Radeon 7xxx or R2xx GPU's

What happens if you put your machine to sleep once it is stuck on the white screen and then wake it up again?

I got to the installation screen after i switched my DVI cable, but the installation screen gets frozen when i began to set up OSX.

I had a similar issue, I got around it using the boot switch:

thank you this fix worked for my gigabyte h55 build
it would stop on the white screen(just before the boot tone)on boot
but this was intermittent, very odd but your solution seemed to fix this issue
