Hacintosh compatibility with Gigabyte GA-Z77X-UP4-TH ?

Are you still having problems? Did you install a bootloader?

Now running on Mavericks seems like most of the troubles are gon for good. What I stil can't manage is install descried video card. For Example GTX 660 ti is not booting. A tried HD 6870, HD 6850 but no joy.
GTX 660 ti - GE=No
HD 6870/50 GE=Yes
it is only working with IGFX and with Apple's Thunderbolt screen. -
Sometimes i need to load the saved BIOS again to be able to boot. Seems like the board is not able to remember BIOS settings...
Byt anyway, most anoint is that i can't use GTX 660 ti....
Any idea on that?

I managed to run this board on Mavericks OSX 10.9.x without any issues using HD 6870 and HD 4000 with Intel Quad Core i7 3,4GHz with FOUR (4) Monitors ! Two monitors hocked up on HD6870 via DVI + DP @ 2560x1440, and two hocked up on HD4000 via HDMI + DVI @ 1080p The real challenge has been the BIOS of this freaking motherboard ... Doesn't matter how often I was trying to reset it... just won't do what is has been tolled to !!! So, took the BIOS battery out a couple of times, try a bunch of other tricks, and @ the end I end up with pretty nice working set up. Too bad I didn't use the K version ... was laying around so... let's build some hackintosh ! Check out the attachment.
So I hope I just gave some hope to anyone of you to build his own set up. And if not, just contact me at [email protected]
