Guide to Installing Mavericks on HP Probook

Not correct. Everything in /Extra/Extra should be moved to /Extra. After you move the contents of /Extra/Extra to /Extra, remove /Extra/Extra.

I am told there will be a new Unibeast that corrects this bug shortly.

I just made this change but nothing has changed ... there is always the black page :banghead:

Do you notice any errors that might give some clues if you boot verbose (-v)?
Can you get a signal from an HDMI monitor?

Upload the contents of the /Extra folder (less Themes) on the USB.

Note: Although my 4540s is similar to yours, my laptop has a 1080p screen and therefore I must use IGPlatformID=01660004. I'm using Clover on mine, but I'll give Unibeast4 a try in a bit here just to see what happens.

I do not know if it works the hdmi at the moment I do not know how to check if it works.
I tried to remove themes from /extra but nothing has changed.
however it does not give me any error, the only thing I can do is get into the bios or the boot, at the time that I start the boot from the Usb the screen goes black and does not go forward...
if you want I can try to take pictures of the bios, so you can see how it is set ... maybe there's some error there, as I said before I tried to start the boot with the same USB key in another laptop and work, so I do not think the problem is the uSB key

You plug in an HDMI monitor and see if it works...

I tried to remove themes from /extra but nothing has changed.

No... I was asking you to post your current /Extra folder to make sure you "fixed" it correctly.

Are you seeing the Chameleon bootloader?

...
but I'll give Unibeast4 a try in a bit here just to see what happens.

I just tried it and after "fixing" the /Extra folder (merging the contents of /Extra/Extra to /Extra), it worked just fine (of course, I'm using 'IGPlatformID=01660003 -v' because of 1080p screen).

Not possible to tell... Would need to see the contents of the directories/files. Thus why I asked that you upload it.

the problem is that I do not see the Chameleon bootloader...

That is a different problem entirely. Check BIOS settings...

And make sure the USB is created correctly:
- should be USB2 stick
- should be 8GB (if larger, partition must be 8GB and rest free space)
- should be placed in correct USB port (try different ones)

...

I would just set BIOS to defaults and give it a try. If you're still not seeing the bootloader, then it is an issue with your USB or you the USB port you're using.

I think I've tried every possible combination in the bios, it still does not show the bootloader screen o_O
I changed my USB key, nothing.
I've tried every usb port, nothing.
I really do not know what to do...
