Guide To Install Mavericks with Clover Bootloader

Hi

I had dual boot install of Windows 7 and Mavericks working great.
I did migrate to Clover using guidelines from http://www.tonymacx86.com/hp-proboo...-install-mavericks-clover-bootloader-134.html
This works fine as well apart that I can not boot to Win 7 anymore.
From all the readings I presume that I have Legacy install not UEFI.

Is there any way I can set Clover to boot my existing Win 7 again ?

The next thing I would like to go for is to turn my HPbook to close to vanilla system for further MAC OSX upgrades.

All help appreciated.

For what it is worth, I could never make Clover boot a legacy install of Windows. At least not without chainloading to Chimera (I consider that cheating...)

Definitely better to convert to pure UEFI if you have the ability...

Yes, best thing to do is reinstall windows in uefi mode

I gave up all fights to have Win 7 UEFI as the only app I use on Win is WOT
I deleted partition with Win 7, created new with MAC filesystem.
Boot using EFI from Win 8 instalation CD and installed Win 8.
All works as a charm

I found the opposite, couldn't get win uefi to work, but legacy worked fine, I think my troubles were to do with windows being on a separate drive in the cd slot though..

I moved to windows 8, and it was as easy as it should have been..

I have win 7, win 8 and mac. how to edit the EFI folder ?

mount EFI with clover configurator..

read page 1, it explains in there what to change in order to boot multiple OS. (certainly windows / osx, not sure about the third..)

Just a headsup, the Dropbox folder seems to be empty... luckily I forgot I downloaded the files I needed last night. All installed and all working perfectly on 6360b! Thanks!
