What's with all the 3rd party system software already installed?

TelestreamAudio
MarkspaceAndroidRNDISAribitrator
WavTap
com_eltima_async_Navel

I would encourage you to keep the system as vanilla as possible and stable with everything working before installing any stuff that may be crapware.

What is the difference between 0x0a2e0008 and others?

1. For sound, try repair
permission and rebuild cache, restart a few times.

Thanks, i used the Kext Wizard and repaired permissions and rebuild the cache, then i reboot the os,
one kernel panic occurred and i power off then reboot.
now the brightness key (f6/7) and volume up/down (f10/f11) work normally.

i tried all of the id-platform-id, and all of the values caused blurred screen when i logout.
at the end i change the value to 0x0a2e0008 again and found it work with no blurred screen.

hi nguyenmac , RehabMan,

the sound and brightness work normally,
but i still have the graphic issue and others:
1. i set the clover boot timeout = 0/5 but the clover still stay in the default page, so i must press the enter key to boot.
how to fix this issue?

2. i turn on the debug mode and found there are one minutes will be cost when boot in this progress:
why?

3. i can see the login screen with good graphic, and successfully login but with some slow mouse response 30s time.
then if i logout, the screen will be blurred.
how to fix this issue?
does it mean the ig-platform-id still not right one?
the current one is 0x0a2e0008, i used this value in the past and there are some times i didn't have blurred screen and i thought that value is right, then i rebuild cache and fix permission, but this blurred screen came out again.

Hi,
I've installed Mavericks on 4540s of my colleague. He have the same model of my laptop, the only difference is the CPU, an i5 instead of a i3.

All works fine, but there is only a problem on the USB ports.

If I connect a USB mouse it works on all four ports, but if I connect a USB key, the disk is mounted only if it is connected to a specific port and not on all ports...

How is it possible?

This is a classic indication of a mismatch between patched DSDT and native. Re-patch your DSDT.

Note: The native DSDT can change:
- after hardware changes
- after BIOS upgrades
- perhaps even after BIOS settings changes

May require a framebuffer patch.

Not enough information.

What kind of USB key is it? Does it happen with both USB2 keys and USB3 keys? Which ports exhibit the problem (USB3 or USB2)?

At the Clover screen, before pressing enter to boot OS X, press F4.

I got this upon reboot after patching the DSDT on my 2170p :
