Sorry, my bad. I've included the folder from 'patchmatic' the in the previous post. I couldn't attach the terminal output, so I'll paste it here:

What is the specific problem with sleep?

Hi Everyone!

I have some news! I successfully did a Dual Band Atheros for the thinkpad T430

There is an Atheros ID's signature that passes on T430 whitelist. Follow the steps on my repository:

You can buy it on Ali Express (to rebrand) as i bought! You gonna see the link on my repository tutorial!

Sorry to trouble you so much. At first I thought sleep was faulty because screen turned black but disk was still running, but now when wait a little bit longer, it actually slept. However, it took nearly a minute to completely sleep.
Also, without a SSDT, there used to be an option to set inactivity time before sleep, but with SSDT added, the option is gone, making me think sleep is not gonna work. So basically this is expected, right?

It is normal. Sleep is delayed by at least 15 seconds, even on a real Mac.
And various assertions may need to clear (pmset -g assertions), which can extend the time.

It is as expected. Based on the SMBIOS you're using.

Thank you for clarifying that. So I have a working hackintosh now. Thanks @ThiagoSchetini for the awesome guide!

That is really cool, and I am going to try it. Did you change anything in your Hackintosh setup in order to make this work?

I made it!

After some (6 hours!) guide and post readings, I'm now typing from Sierra on my Thinkpad T430.
Internet connection is over Bluetooth tethering (1,6 Mbps) via OnePlus3, while the Atheros AR5BHB92 is on its way from China.

Everything works fine except what it should't work :)

I still not have generated my own SSDT so I guess the following aren't working:
  • Intel Hyperthread
  • Intel TurboBoost
  • Intel SpeedStep

I have to understand the guide (https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/quick-guide-to-generate-a-ssdt-for-cpu-power-management.177456/) before moving forward.
