ACPI re-extract/re-patch only required under the conditions presented in the guide:
- BIOS updates
- BIOS option changes
- hardware changes

Read post #1. The guide is very clear that only errors must be fixed.

now on MACiasl (using 5.0) I get following error on my dsdt when I click compile

10/02/2016, 08:08:14, iASLMlP6qu.dsl(35013) : error 6126 - syntax error, unexpected $end and premature End-Of-File

Errors are not unexpected.

my main question is do I still apply all general patches to all my dsdt and ssdt bcos I have used your iasle from github and fix the error.

You need to fix the errors before applying functional patches.

Post EFI/Clover folder as ZIP (press F4 at main Clover screen before collecting). Please eliminate 'themes' directory, especially if you have an overabundance of themes installed.
