[Guide] Native Power Management for Laptops

Thanks RehabMan, but ders lots of confusion,
Firstly its for ML, second no AMD Cards and lastly what to do !
Talking abt SMBios, m using MacBook Pro 9,2 its a perfect match.

This error which i was talking about in post #128 finally got here y is that so !
By Toleda,
A kernel error remains (AICPM failed to load ring table). The ring table is present in IOReg/X86PlatformPlugin.

You'll have to do the research. I have no Radeon hardware and no plans to purchase any.

Hey RehabMan u were right, changing SMBios can bring diff.
:thumbup::thumbup::thumbup::thumbup::thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:

i was using 9,2 then changed to 10,1 n it made diff to CPU n GPU PM.
Should i use 10,1.
Is everything right !

Yes, looks closer. MacBookPro10,1 must have a discrete GPU and 9,2 not. Never looked at the details (everymac.com might confirm).

Yep RehabMan, u r right
Der r 3 10,1 model(late 2012) wic have Discrete graphics.
N 9,2 n 10,2 have same cpu as mine but don't have discrete graphics.

Thanks a lot RehabMan.:clap::clap::clap::clap::clap:
So should i keep for 10,1(Ivy Bridge) as clover has only SMBios for this Spec.
other is for Haswells !

Hey RahabMan should i make another SSDT for 10,1 SMBios !

You could. There is some dependencies on smbios within the ssdtPRgen.sh script. I don't know the details.

I made one, but i didn't find ny diff !
Used FileMerge, 0 Diff !

If no differences, then the script generates the same output for those two smbios.
