Shades does not provide true brightness control. It does not manipulate the backlight at all (but rather uses a transparent window over the entire screen to change the colors).

As a result, you don't have the power management properties, and of course it takes more CPU/IGPU resources to do the alpha blend. Result: poor batter life.

Brightness guide is linked from the FAQ.

Hi again RehabMan!

I`m Unity3D Game developer, and i noticed today that the game really lags very bad in the Unity Editor, and its a very simple game. What can be the problem?

I`m using the macOS Sierra, MSI Dominator GT60 2PC, Intel 4600 graphics, i didn`t patched yet the DSDT to disable the Nvidia GTX870m. On my PC hackintosh using Yosemite, works really good.

Thanks!

Hi Rehab!

I noticed that almost everytime i reboot my laptop, i receive a message to put my iCloud password. Any idea why? I used a fix method from this forum (can't find it anymore, i had to delete all iCloud accounts from a folder, also i fixed my Hackintosh Serial number) but still no luck.

What can i do? Thanks!
