[Guide] Lenovo Z50-70/Z40-70 using Clover UEFI (10.11)

Hello RehabMan,
thank you for this wonderful guide! I followed and all works fine (inklusiv WLAN with then BMC94352Z - but i cant get audio... I followed the guide for broken audio 10.11.4 #22 but it wont work - and I think I have some problems with sleep... the batterie ist getting low while I closed the Z50-70... Please can you have a look...

You clearly are not using my repo (which has corrections for audio). Read post #3.
 
ok! now I saw what you mean!!! I tryed to fix it and install YOUR repo the same way...
But I still have no sound... but now I don´t followed the FIX 10.11.4 ... do I???

I have this output, do you need the Clover Files again?

I run:

chmod +x ./ssdtPRGen.sh
./ssdtPRGen.sh

cd ~/Projects/Z50.git
sudo ./mount_efi.sh /
cp ~/Library/ssdtPRgen/ssdt.aml /Volumes/EFI/EFI/Clover/ACPI/patched/SSDT.aml
.... and so on

what is my fault? I realy dont know what is wrong.... May I make a complete new install?

If that's all you did, seems like you forgot to run ./download.sh and ./install_downloads.sh.
 
I do, but first I installed the wrong z50.git - could this the problem - that your files not overwrite the wrong files?

If in doubt, start over from scratch. Use only my repo as linked in post #3.

Looking at your kextcache output, seems like you damaged IOAudioFamily.kext.
 
This guide confused me, maybe because of how long I've been looking at the screen, but it says during building of clover USB to include the compiled SSDT hack. The instructions on how to compile are on the post installation section, when I do type in make in terminal, it says that a file that is supposed to be in the build folder is missing. I checked and there is only a readme file in there.

I prefer to do all ACPI/final install tasks after installing. You can do it either way though.

If you run 'make' it will create the SSDT-HACK.aml in ./build. This assumes you installed iasl to your path.
