IOReg shows no VoodooTSCSync attached to latest CPU object (CPU3). Try rebooting without caches, rebuild caches, and reboot.

I already did that after editing it, but it turns out incorrect permissions were set on the kext and the kextcache command skipped over VoodooTSCSync. After correcting the permission, rerunning the command and restarting, the problem is no longer present.
The amount of time for the machine to enter sleep however is rather long (maybe 15-20secs?). Is that normal behaviour?
