[Guide] Intel NUC7/NUC8 using Clover UEFI (NUC7i7Bxx,NUC8i7Bxx,etc)

Can you use the Enter key instead ?

I can navigate the Mojave installer menus fine with my USB keyboard using Tab, Space and Enter Keys, but when I reach the Page where you have to select the HDD to install Mojave to it doesn't let me use the Keys anymore to select a HDD. I can use CMD + Q though to close the installer window and go back to the first installer screen where you can chose between Disk Utility, Install Mojave, etc.

The simplest thing is reset your bios to default and then apply the various recommended settings at the beginning of the guide from Rehabman. Either that or try a different mouse, USB should be working. If all else fails go into the EFI/Clover/ACPI/patched and empty the contents (save a copy for later) then empty the trash and reboot.

I'll try that, thank you.

I sure had, but actually now I seem to have a quite stable setup with full working continuity. But I'm a little bit of a perfectionist and I like every detail to work :)

What is your compute result in geekbench4 if I may ask as you claim yours stack up pretty well.
Edit: First is Geekbench 4, second the results of Geekbench 5 both on my i3 and comparisons to other users scores:

install the last clover 5097. Upload your clover directory to the forum - I will look at your settings on the sound

Thanks Sevift! 5097 did the trick. System boots now well. Sound is ok via Speaker but headphones (old pods with 3.5mm) should like a 3D effect. Voice low, Music loud.

Currently I attached an old Airport Express and this sound is good.

System looks good so far. One minor things, old Logitech set Y-RK56A mouse buttons no function, but corded mouse is working fine.

Thanks for the Clover files below, helped me a lot!

Try mine. (insert your Serial Number)
include:
AppleALC.kext - remade by me under device-id 719d0000 so as not to use FakePCIID_Intel_HDMI_Audio.kext

What happened to RehabMan the author of this guide?
His last post was March 14th 2019.

Tim Cook hired an assassin :lolno: No one seems to know but he is missed.

Somethings going on, the redirect on the download is to another branch of clover. I'm waiting to see how this situation develops before I do anything else. Clover Configurator I rarely use but I recommend it for new users being it simplifies managing your clover install and if you like can help manually finding updates.

Thanks for the reply. I had no idea it was another branch of clover. As clover is a collaboration of coders there might be a difference of opinion. Do you have a link to to the official github clover bootloader? I'm guessing it might be this https://github.com/Dids/clover-builder/releases This link has the same version numbers and is top on google for when searched.

Also do you mind mentioning what tool or tools you use. Not that I want to use them but want to be aware of what tools are around. I'm guessing Hackintool? https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/335018-hackintool-v283/?page=12

Hi @spottsy, I found this post here in Tonymac but its the only thing I can find regarding Clover no longer being hosted on Sourceforge. Sounds legit. https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/updating-clover.285612/#post-2022650

Edit: I use terminal commands whenever possible and of course Xcode to edit .plists

You made me laugh. You might be next Leesureone. You are responsible for too many Intel NUC's working. Keep looking over your shoulder.
