Then you're probably running into a different panic... (or not booting without caches).

Boot without Intel injection or use a bogus FakeID.

Everything works fine.

But still don't know why this patch didn't work when installing OS X

It could be the binaries you have on your USB installer do not match the patch pattern.
 
RehabMan, hello! I have a problem, plz help. Successfully dumped bios and got this (setup IFR.txt). There is 2(!) DVMT: 0x202 and 0x201. Which one I should change to 0x3 to make my HD5600 work as normal(now 7mb)? Or not to 0x3?

So, now I have 7mb video memory in OSX 10.11.3. Tried your patches for 5600 from repository, but it didn't worked for me. Do I need FakeID? Or "ig-platform-id" only?

How do I get my HDMI Audio with that graphics card on my Laptop?
I'm injecting the platform id using Clover, or does it work by simply using the DSDT patch?

Reports are that you have to change both.

No FakeID needed. You must inject a correct ig-platform-id.

is your xps 9550 finally succeed in hackintosh?
I just got one same as yours .
I find there is no setting option to change DVMT .
 
sorry I don't entirely understand, if my Dedicated Video Memory is 192 MB, What can I do?
