@Frace. If you did follow my guide to Fix Brightness etc.. Please delete the IntelBacklight.kext in EFI/CLOVER/kexts/Other/ . This step will solve the Sleep-issue!

You are testing sleep with Apple->Sleep, correct?

Did you implement power management?
Did you implement correct ACPI patches?

Did you check for assertions? Use 'pmset -g assertions'...

Keep in mind 15-20 sec delay before sleep is normal...


Attach ioreg as ZIP: http://www.tonymacx86.com/audio/58368-guide-how-make-copy-ioreg.html. Please, use the IORegistryExplorer v2.1 attached to the post! DO NOT reply with an ioreg from any other version of IORegistryExplorer.app.

Provide output (in Terminal):

kextstat|grep -y acpiplat
kextstat|grep -y appleintelcpu
kextstat|grep -y applelpc
kextstat|grep -y applehda

Attach EFI/Clover folder as ZIP (press F4 at main Clover screen before collecting). Please eliminate 'themes' directory. Provide only EFI/Clover, not the entire EFI folder.

Attach output of (in Terminal):

sudo touch /System/Library/Extensions && sudo kextcache -u /

Compress all files as ZIP. Do not use external links. Attach all files using site attachments only.

Hi folks! I'm experiencing the "prohibitional" screen when I try to boot OSX installer. It says "still waiting for root device. As I thought it might has something to do with USB3 complications, I tried using a USB2 drive but however, it doesn't work anyway. I followed RehabMans guide using config_HD520_530_540.plist. Is anyone experiencing those issues as well?

Boot verbose, show photo. Post EFI/Clover folder as ZIP (omit 'themes' folder).
