10th gen would be best for longevity

intel graphics a must!

Has to be Intel UHD 620 or 630 which many laptops do have. Also need upgradable WIFI / BT that doesn't have a whitelist. Not sure which ones still have that in newer models. Maybe FT knows ?

My Asus does not have have a whitelist in regards to wifi modules, used to have an intel wifi, swapped it out for a DW1560 and then swapped it out for a BCM94360NG (mush better as it requires no kexts)

also an option in bios to set DVMT to 64 or 128MB which is also a bonus
