First of all, thank you so much for this guide Rehabman. I was wondering how possible it would be to go through this guide as is in a VMWare environment which has Clover and OS X 10.11 already installed. I followed this video tutorial: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UjED23Sf1_Y and while the same person has a tutorial for getting the video card (Intel HD 4xxx) properly installed, the person who made the video mentioned that this video is meant for non-VMWare installs. I'm wondering if that was due to the Clover tutorial that I linked to above didn't exist yet or what. I'd just like to know before I dive in.


TLDR: can I use your guide for a VMWare image of OSX 10.11 and Clover?

computer is HP Elitebook 2170p with Core i5 3247U, 12GB RAM, Intel HD 4000

If this fails, next step will be to verify by rolling back the files to the previously two working sets.

You can revert just the involved files to any version.

For example, to go back to #2:

This guide is for installing to bare metal. Since in a VM hardware is emulated, installing in a VM is a completely different endeavor and is not even supported on this site.

I have a Probook 450G2 (9 series).I installed all kext,power management,final config.plist,... as described in this guide.But,a number pad doesn't work :crazy:.Why?

Macs do not have the numlock key. So, if you mean the numlock doesn't work that is expected (numlock is Clear).

You can use Karabiner (formerly KeyRemap4MacBook) to use the keypad and numlock like you'd expect.

I don't use tap zones, double-tap, and tap-to-select on touchpad.This is an error?

SysPrefs->Trackpad.
