Quick question: I use Adobe Premiere Pro on my customac, kinda lag on preview... What about CUDA driver?

As suspected that is not an 8300 model. You can easily tell by viewing the front of the case. 8300 in lower pic.

For the $300 dollar cost of the I5-4570 800 G1 version you could easily get an I7-3770 based Elite 8300 and then use this guide to do the install. I haven't seen a well written and supported guide for the Haswell Elite Desk models. So the 8300 would make more sense in your situation. Here's one at Newegg.com for $250. You'd just need to add some extra ram and use an SSD you already have. https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?item=9SIADT25UW3524

Here's one from Amazon with 8 GB of ram and Windows 10 on a 2 TB HDD if you want to game in Windows and dual boot.

Thanks so much for taking the time to answer!! This community is so good. I figured something must not be right about the listing but wasn't sure what. If you look even closer at the pic as I did last night, the sticker says i7 inside. Thanks again. I will be back if I do get an 8300!

My Samsung 850 SSD with my OSX Sierra install stalls at the apple logo, then shuts down. I can see the drive and it reports to be functioning correctly when I use the Magician software under Win 10. This is the second time this has happened. Each time I wiped the drive and reinstalled Sierra and it is good for a few months. I'm wondering if it is time to junk this drive? Any thoughts? Here is the screenshot of verbose mode...

@secretmak Have you tried running some programs, within Windows, to test out the SSD health. Try a few different ones like Crystal Disk Info etc. and see what they report about the SSD health.

I tried Crystal Disk Info and Samsung Magician...they both report good health. Nothing wrong with the drive.

If the drive is good there must be something in the guide you are missing. Try a reinstall following the guide exactly as written. I've used an I5-3470 and a Gigabyte GTX 1050 with Sierra and had zero KPs or booting issues.

Current Pro Refurbished HP 8300 SFF Deal
Arrow Direct has a 25 dollar off deal on an 8300 SFF model. You get a 1 TB HDD and Windows 10 Pro license. Has the I5-3470 CPU. It only comes with 2GB of ram but you will likely remove that and add your own 8 or 16GB kit instead. There are other configurations with more ram available. They also throw in a free keyboard and mouse that are respectable.

The screenshot says Elite 8000 but it is the 8300 model. The 8000s could only use C2Duo or C2Quad CPUs. The shipping is free and also the return shipping within 30 days of purchase. Remember to enter the ARROW code to get the discount.
