READ AGAIN !!!

DO NOT USE TEXTEDIT !!!

OPEN THE FIRST PAGE COPY CODE !!!

READ PLEASE

I THINK IT'S CLEAR
READ
roloweb

I had this too
because text edit is not a true text editor
the right way is open the page of your browser to the page with text code from:
https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/...h-ionvmefamily-using-class-code-spoof.210316/

Copy the text from fist to last carractere
and past directy to your new emtpy file
Modify BY TYPING WITH YOU KEYBOARD the right value
and compile it
then save as
Name: SSDT-NVMe-Pcc.aml
Location: Desktop
Format: ACPI Machine Language Binary

Hi there.

I have a question i cant figure this out. Must be missing someting. Why is my ioreg looks like this?

View attachment 229035

It is the case you have no ACPI identity for the SSD itself.
Parent ACPI identity is _SB.PCI0.RP05. So you just create the "leaf node" identity for the SSD (I tend to use SSD0).
Read post #1... it is explained and a template is provided.

My bad I didn't know that the code in textedit did not work. Now I continue thanks for your help..

I copied and pasted the code by changing to My ACIP in MaciASL but the cursor is running and nothing happens.

You said :
look @ the first picture on the page 7 you will see what's you need
the name of the device on your picture is stange
do you plug NVMe directly on motherboard ?

The answer is Yes

Edit : Oh sorry wasn't for me .. lol

Make sure you're using the correct MaciASL with ACPI 6.1 selected in MaciASL->Preferences.

Some old versions of iasl (contained in old versions of MaciASL) don't support C-style syntax, and have difficulty with lines that don't end in newline. Don't use those versions.

The correct MaciASL download info is provided in post #1.

There is no need to use TextEdit in this guide... only MaciASL (it has a built-in text editor).
