It seems I need GraphicsEnabler=yes in order for games like Portal 2 to run. Added to guide.

Thanks I was able to use this gude to get 10.6.8 working on my system:

  • GA-H67MA-UD2H-B3[/*:m:2yrhtdqg]
  • i5 2400[/*:m:2yrhtdqg]
  • 8GB 1333mhz ddr3[/*:m:2yrhtdqg]
  • GA AMD 6450 (2x monitors)[/*:m:2yrhtdqg]
  • OCZ Vertex ssd 30GB [/*:m:2yrhtdqg]

Here are some things I think helped me:

  • Update BIOS to F5[/*:m:2yrhtdqg]
  • Turn multiplier down to 29 during install[/*:m:2yrhtdqg]
  • Disable USB3[/*:m:2yrhtdqg]

I want to get a different video card though to drive 3x monitors. Does the 5770 do that?

Nevermind I was able to get my AMD6450 + ATI HD 4670 working. The 4670 was showing a black screen at first but I just needed to put it into a native resolution and it works perfect now. So I have 3x Monitors

Please help.
After reboot(install 10.6.8 multi beast etc ...) network is go out! Pre reboot network is worked.I make install at two days, and ever day I have some problems on sound and network. Bios f5. :banghead: :banghead:

STEP 3: UPDATE TO 10.6.8 (was: 10.6.7)
Instead of going to 10.6.7, use the 10.6.8 Combo Update which you put on the USB stick.
After the install of 10.6.8, I had a sudden kernel panic. Although the guide says 'DON'T REBOOT', I was able to reboot into the fresh 10.6.8 installation through iBoot!

Unable to get past this stage Get kernal on 10.6.8 try to turn pc back on just constant reboot loop.

Try booting to your install using the iBoot disk. Then use MultiBeast to install the necessary kexts.
