Yes, just install the 10.7.3 update FROM APPLES SITE after you install the SMBIOS for a MBP 8,3.

let us know how that works!

edit- also, I think I have the graphics kexts finished now too. Can we get an i5 user or two to see what SMBIOS works for them? It seems we have the one i3, the one i7, and there are two i5's that we need to test.

But actually, it appears we can just extract SSDT's, and then with those, we can use any SMBIOS we want with native speedstep!

Hi all,
i got my 4530s(i3) up and running with 10.7.3.
after 10.7.3-Update i had a KP (IntelCPUPowerManagement)
i disconnect the Drive, connectet with a running System---
delete this two kext (PW and Client)
replaced the Drive to my HP-Book, and it was starting without KP....
but no Sound, WIFI, BT
now i installed the 3 kext (Vanillakext from 10.7.2) thanks to blueking.
reboot...
now running the HP-Installer .....
reboot
Lucky.... Sound is ok, Wifi is working, but BT doesn't
til now running stable 10.7.3 (made online-Updates )

Both MacBookPro8,1 and 8,2 give me a kernel panic with the 10.7.3 update. What do you suggest I do? Patch it for speedstepper?

my BIOS is F20, and my CPU is i3 2330M

ok i;m running 1072 bios f20 ..i used the vanila kexts from your 1st post installed with kextbeast (kext helper always hangs on close for me ) and both 8.2 and 8.3 smbios made with chameleon wizard work fine get a better geek score with 8,2

8,2 geekscore 7166 ish 8,3 geek score 7144 ish (miss typed the score in my earlier post)
