Oops. Slight mistake in my last post as well. Am guessing that the OS X Base Image is going to reflect that SIP is disabled in Disk Utility, mainly because I'm in the Recovery Partition and the image is what will get installed on the SSD.

So, went back and clicked the "Info" button for my El Capitan SSD image in Disk Utility (while booted in the Recovery Partition), and yep, SIP is enabled there. So, I need to disable it. Will check the forum for posts on how to do this, and hopefully, that will take care of my problem. If not, I've backed up my SSD with TimeMachine, so I'll just reformat the drive and re-install El Capitan, using your guide.

Hi, ammulder. Ended up reformatting my drive and doing a fresh install of el capitan, using your guide. Ahhh. All is as it should be, including audio and USBs. Right as rain. Thanks again for all your help.

Tried but the system won't let me send him a direct message because it says I haven't written enough posts.

In reference to the post about creating a bootable Windows USB drive, it should also mention that drive is not for installing windows on a separate drive on a PC (clean install). It appears to be for the Mac OS X dual boot option only, as detailed in the guide.

What I ended up with is a locked USB flash drive that I can't use anymore because permissions are frozen on read only. I tried everything I could find to try to change permissions, but no avail. Bricked. Good thing it was a cheap USB drive.

Hi!!! thanks for the guide. it work great in two systems. without GT 740

only thing is bugging me is just a power issue on one of the systems that has 3 monitors connected to Intel Graphics. When i shut it down it restart after a couple of seconds, i try wake on lan disable and fix shutdown on the config.plist with the clover configurator. also try to disconnect USB and nothing. just to confirm, it does not happened with just one monitor. With one monitor just shutdown normally.

I've never tried three monitors, so I can't speak from experience. You might try using the MacPro3,1 system definition, just in case it doesn't expect an iMac to have three monitors available or something.
