Three themes pendent, I think.

1-DSDT
The reality is that I tried with all the patches Metalcored00d says in post #1. You can do all of them and it's ok... but my computer doesn't sleep. So, I tried some more patches without any success. That guy, Jake Lo, offered to check my DSDT and did some "USB generical patches", and sleep works now. I don't know more than I've said here (read previous posts). Rehabman helped me to understand a lot of them, when I tried to analize the two DSLs (origin and patched by JL). For example, we know it's the Rehabman's SMBios patch applied, IMEI, a not needed PNOT patch (that has to be taken back to the DSDT)...

So, now I'm just using the Jake Lo DSDT as base and I have just added the keyboard patch (it's in a previous post), added again the PNOT section from origin, and now added the line Rehabman has suggested (changing DSDT from 1 to 2).

Please, play with your DSDT, patch as Metalcored00d says in post #1, and check if your computer sleeps. After that, and if your machine doesn't sleep, you can just check my DSDTs (I attach the two base versions, origin and the version I'm using right now), and try to see what's different if you compare them with your DSDT. I cannot say much more.

2-AppleHDA vs VoodooHDA
Referred to AppleHDA, it sounds strange to me (channel 69), and I didn't know which AppleHDA I had to use until you told it to me some posts ago, but I haven't had any time to check it yet, because of the SSDTs issues I've been having. I'll check when I can. Please, if you do that, tell us what you get.

3-WIFI kexts
Referred to WIFI, now I'm using v5 again, because v10 didn't work good for me, but I want to try the last NB96 suggerences, to get rid of a lot of errors I have everytime I boot and are related to the WIFI kext and to security issues related to the WIFI kext, as NB96 states in some post.

You can check these errors writing something like this into the terminal:
log show --start "2017-05-17 10:00:10" --style syslog | fgrep "Error" > boot-error.log.txt
Change the date to some minutes before the last boot you did and check the .txt you get. In textedit, I have 1776 "error" occurrences in this very moment for every boot.

Please, tell us, if you improve some of these 3 points, how you did it, ok?
I'll do the same if I improve something.
First step I'll do will be WIFI related (and later, I'll check AppleHDA, too) but I don't know when I will have time.

Important note: I hope you are not using ssdt-3x,4x,5x... in /Clover/ACPI/patched...

If you want a good WIFI, I think we have an internal mini-PCIe WIFI card inside of our computer.
A great option is buying an Atheros AR5B91 (it's mini-PCIe), it's detected out-of-the-box and it usually costs about 3-5 dollars (eBay). I have two of them inside of my old Acers Aspire 5315 and 5715z, with Sierra 10.12.4, and work perfectly.
Another option is keeping the track to the thread you have found where the developers are working on the Atheros kexts. Maybe in some days we'll have a better kext.

Of course, this machine *is* a macbook air 5,2.
I have recently bought it (second hand, irrisory price) to run *only* macOS Sierra. The seller told me: "I'm selling this machine because I have bought a Macbook Air and I'm not using this Windows computer anymore"
