Which trackpad is in your laptop?

Looks like the Dell Touchpad hardware is definately Synaptics. Voodoo PS2 works perfectly well, but the 3 finger touch gesture is not working for scrolling the screens etc.

There is no true multitouch in any hack trackpad driver.

You can configure three-finger swipes in SysPrefs->Keyboard->Keyboard shortcuts. Do the swipe instead of hitting keys.

Hi

I've just installed my Dell DW1560 NGFF card which I believe is a Broadcom BCM4352 chipset and "should" work on Yosemite. Is there any post detailing the steps to get this card working on 10.10.4 on the Dell XPS 13 9333?

Thanks

BCM94352 requirements:
- FakePCIID.kext and FakePCIID_BCM94352Z_as_BCM94360CS2.kext: https://github.com/RehabMan/OS-X-Fake-PCI-ID. Install with Kext Wizard to /S/L/E.
- BrcmPatchRAM.kext: https://github.com/RehabMan/OS-X-BrcmPatchRAM. Install with Kext Wizard to /S/L/E.
- 5Ghz patch for WiFi documented here: http://www.tonymacx86.com/network/104850-guide-airport-pcie-half-mini-v2.html

Thank you RehabMan - with very little effort and as per your post I managed to get WiFi working. At this stage even 5Ghz hand-off seem to work without further patching, however the BT is not working. The bluetooth hand-off patch post seems very complicated as there's references to all other kinds of cards, and not 100% sure if all those steps are inclusive for my BT patching....but nevertheless, I will need to read it thoroughly to understand it before I apply them.

Thanks again - Wifi working great!

Just guessing: The patches are likely already present in the config.plist used by the guide in post #1.

Post ioreg: http://www.tonymacx86.com/audio/58368-guide-how-make-copy-ioreg.html. Please, use the IORegistryExplorer v2.1 attached to the post! DO NOT reply with an ioreg from any other version of IORegistryExplorer.app.

Updated to 10.11 from 10.10.5 (direct upgrade) - required steps added to post #2.
I have no plans to perform a clean install of 10.11 but it should work just fine using this guide since the upgrade from yosemite works.
Credit and thanks to rehabman and the-darkvoid for their continuing development and writeups.

Safely upgraded from 10.10.4 to 10.11, patched and all good thus far.

How do I get the brightness of the screen to stay where I position it at? Every time I restart the brightness goes back to 100?

Thanks

Is your NVRAM working correctly? Both ACPIBacklight.kext and IntelBacklight.kext require working NVRAM. It means that if you're using EmuVariableUEFI-64.efi, don't forget to install "RC scripts".
