Hey everyone, I couldn't see a thread for Mojave on this laptop, so wanted to post here. I am pretty happy with my setup on this laptop as I have Headset Mic working, good power management and Mac is running smoothly, but I do have one issue was wondering if anyone can help out. Whenever I put my laptop to sleep and wake up the system, the estimated time remaining from Activity Monitor shows time decreasing by around 40% and can't figure out what it is. I have HWMonitor which shows the CPU Frequency is going down to 900MHz when idle and Activity Monitor shows CPU isn't utilized any different when before I go to sleep. I have DGPU disabled by
@RehabMan AML file, so really am stumped what could cause the sudden lose in battery when all I do is put the computer to sleep. I am using the AML files (gracefully) giving by
@Nihhaar's Github and since Mac's battery is fine before sleep, makes me wonder if a device that is disabled upon boot, is re-enabled after sleep. It could all be a bug in Mojave's reporting of the remaining battery remaining, but wanted a second opinion if anyone has this issue?
Does anyone have any suggestions on how to fix or an app that can monitor what is draining the battery? Let me know and I can provide any problem reporting files if needed.
Edit: Nevermind I thought using CPUFriend.kext to allow my CPU to idle at 900MHz opposed to the 1300MHz that my CPU sits at would be best, but seems like that caused the issue after sleep. After just using plugintype=true, I have better battery after sleep.
