so I'm supposed to remove the 3rd party kexts from /L/E and put them in clover/kexts/other? I'm not entirely sure what you meant

All the 3rd party "extra" kexts you are using to make your hack run you need to have installed in Clover/Kexts/Other. Also remove FakeSMC and install VirtualSMC. SMCBatteryManager will not work with FakeSMC. After you remove them all from L/E clear all kext cache and repair permissions. Reboot and give it a shot :)
 
well, I removed all the "invalid" 3rd party kexts from L/E and cleared kext cache and still nothing. On the bright side though, my machine boots up much faster. I replaced FakeSMC with VirtualSMC as well. At least we're making progress
