[Guide] Booting the OS X installer on LAPTOPS with Clover

You forgot EmuVariableUefi-64.efi in drivers64UEFI.
Or you can use AptioMemoryFix.efi instead of EmuVariableUefi-64.efi+OsxAptioFixDrv-64.efi.
Read post #1 carefully.

Also, reboots are part of the installation process.

Ah yes .. The EmuVariableUefi-64.efi fixed it. Thanks. I've installed High Sierra now. Now will proceed to post install :)

Hi RehabMan,
I have a question
If I can boot without the DVMT-prealloc patch it means that my framebuffer is big enough and I do not need it?
Thanks!

Not necessarily.

There are other ways to patch for inadequate DMVT-prealloc:
- patching the kext manually
- using IntelGraphicsDVMTFixup.kext.

In my case I have not done any of that. I think that as long as I do not have problems I will disable all types of patch for DMVT-prealloc.
Thanks for your time

Does this still valid way?
I followed instructions but when booting after installation, at the 50% of bar, it goes to black screen
I'm using ux410ua i5 8200u, hd620 version.

and I followd this
No black screen after this, and I got my graphic.

The guide recommends other solutions other than OsxAptioFix2Drv-64.efi.
Read post #1.

And...
If you still have an issue (after following post #1), open a separate thread with problem reporting files as per FAQ.
