Found a working patch for handoff for 10.10.2. Credit goes to doktordok. Tested on my Azurewave CE-123H

Filename: IOBluetoothFamily
Find: 48 85 C0 74 5C 0F B7 48
Replace: 41 BE 0F 00 00 00 EB 59

It appears the AirPortBrcm4360.kext is dervied from the open source Broadcom driver: brcm80211 - Linux Wireless. Broadcom says:
To be done for softmac driver

Add support for more chips, including (near term) BCM43227, BCM43228, and BCM4331. Support for additional new chips to follow.

Interestingly, the driver supports 802.11 ac, not documented

At this time, those with Asus Ivy Bridge wireless don't have a solution, however, those purchasing an Asus Haswell (Deluxe) motherboard with ac wireless will own the ideal Airport solution (dual band 802.11 ac+abgn and BT 4.0).

Three ways to inject non native Broadcom supported Device_IDs: 1. AirPortBrcm4360.kext/Info.plist edit, 2. dsdt edit or 3. a helper kext (often called Legacy).

I have the 14E4:4727 BCM4313 802.11bgn wireless network adapter which appears to not be fully supported per the link you posted...only reason I didn't post all the requirements you asked of. Am I to download something from their site or should I just post your requested information.

In what file exactly do I place this? I have a hex editor, but don't know which file to apply this patch to.

I did read post #1 and frankly its not entirely clear as to what files need to be patched.

I have the same Azurewave CE123H mini PCIe and while I am able to get on my 5 GHz Wifi network,
I can't figure out how to get Handoff working.
I am on 10.10.2.
