[Guide] Airport - PCIe Half Mini v2

I can't seem to get my Broadcom wifi card running and I'm at a loss of what to try next. Admittedly I've been out of the game for a long time so my problem is likely rooted in a lack of understanding of what needs to be done.

Currently I have a half mini PCIe card installed (BCM94360CD) with a PCIe adapter, USB attached, and I can't get the OS to detect it, nor do I seem to be able to see the FakePCIID.kext or FakePCIID_Broadcom_WiFi.kext loaded using kextstat | egrep -i 'fake'.

I'm using 10.12.3, installed with the latest Unibeast, on a Gigabyte z270X-UD5, F1 UEFI, i7-6700k, Gigabyte 670 GTX installed.

I've tried installing FakePCIID.kext and FakePCIID_Broadcom_WiFi.kext using Airport/WiFi Injection Methods 1. Using Kext Utility in S/L/E and KextBeast in L/E and neither seems to work. As far as I know I'm doing this right but I've never used this method before so I may be missing something obvious.

Screen shots and files are attached as indicated in the top post. Nothing shows in console regarding airportd.

There is probably something really simple I'm missing but I don't know what it is. I hate having to ask for help but I am totally stuck.

Note: Wifi and bluetooth were previously working OOB with this exact card in a Yosemite install on a ga-p35-ds3r and as far as I can remember I didn't patch anything, it just seemed to work after resetting network plists.

If installed properly, 4360 would show in DPCIManger; it doesn't.
verify installation.

Thank you so much for the reply. I expected it would show there as well but wasn't sure not being familiar with DPCIManager.

In terms of verifying installation, I mean, it's installed, the power LED on the adapter is on. I tried changing the Other PCI Devices setting in the BIOS but that made no difference. Is there something else I'm missing in terms of verifying the card installation?

I recently purchased a BCM94360CDAX and PCI-E PCI Express Adapter to replace my BCM943225HMB pci card and adaptor. I have confirmed both the wireless and bluetooth work in Windows and Linux. Using the method described in
[Guide] airport_pcie-hm_plist_edits.pdf, I enabled bluetooth in MacOS by editing the info.plist of the vanilla kext. However when I try to turn on wifi under preferences, I can't. I was under the impression since it had the BCM94360 chipset, is should work OOB. When I click the turn wi-fi on button under network nothing happens. I have tried removing the wifi entry and re-adding it, but it makes no difference. I have tried the wifi under my recovery partition and usb install with no luck. I also tried applying Rehabman's Disable Whitelist clover patch, but nothing changed. I am running 10.12.3 with an GA-Z170X-UD5 mobo, F21 bios, i7-6700k cpu, and GTX 1080 gpu. Attached are all the requested files. I didn't know what Console/All Messages/airportd meant, so I include my wifi.log form /var/log instead.

Antenna problem? Have you tested the hardware on Windows?

Sounds like instant wake. Disable wake on USB in BIOS (and disable wake in bluetooth settings in SysPrefs).

There is no handoff/hotspot patch for AirPortBrcm4360.... only IOBluetoothFamily.
If disabling wake on USB in BIOS, the hack could not be waken up by press the USB keyboard.

If installed properly, 4360 would show in DPCIManger; it doesn't.
Verify installation.

I switched the PCIe port I had the card plugged into and everything works now (verified the installation ;). I still don't understand why the other PCIeX1 slot didn't work though, is it possible the slot is bad? -- it is a brand new board and I don't have any other 1X cards to test with it. Anyway that is off-topic.

Thank you so much for being awesome toleda, it narrowed down my search from everything to the hardware installation.

I got it recently!
If you don't want to replace your wifi card, you can share internet via USB interface with a IOS device.
eeeee, sorry!
I am wrong, this method only use 4G data, ****.
