Forget that and install OpenCL Combo Enabler from MultiBeast and reboot.
Thanks for the response. Going to try that now. I must point out that the enabler says specifically "This combo patch is for 10.7.2 or 10.7.3", however I am assuming since you wrote the tool, you're telling me here that it's ok to update on 7.4.

I wrote the tool and when MultiBeast 4.4.0 was released those were the only versions released.

Since 10.7.4 has been released we have found the it also works for 10.7.4, hence tonymac's instructions.

My apologies. You did a superb job with the tool. It worked and my gfx is enabled, however it took a considerable performance hit, was getting mid 1900's in unigine, now i'm lucky to hit a 1250 score.

Possibly need to look into that 2500k sticky, maybe the cpu has something to do with the gpu bench scores.

Could you please report back, after you apply the speedstep fix, maybe with new unigine test results.

It's not looking good. I did the 2500k patch sand got my geekbench scores back to normal. however now my uningine bench is worse than ever at a lousy 711!!!!! Huge performance hit here.

your CPU is probably stuck at 1.6ghz (lowest speedstep), there's a post on the front page of tonymacx86.com showing how to fix it.

That wasn't it, it was actually slower when i fixed the CPU speedsteps. What DID fix it, and wonderfully, was Nvidia's official drivers for 10.7.4, works amazing now, better than 10.7.3... (same speed as 10.7.3 but it's not crashing anymore(so far))
