Facing exactly this problem on an ASUS Strix 960 4GB. Were you able to solve this?

Disable OpenCL in photoshop preferences or try running the beta nvidia Web driver.

set accell to normal under advanced in Photoshop performance preferences

forgot to add, remember to close photoshop completely afterwards, or you won't see a difference. if this doesn't work, try with the basic setting.

I have the same problem.
Hackintosh running 10.11.4 (installed it last week for the first time)

Gigabyte Z87X-UD3H
Intel Core i7-4700k
NVidia GeForce GTX 770 with NVIdia Webdrivers v. 10.11.5 346.03.06f01

here you can see it:

Also tried to disable OpenCL, didn't help.
