To the best of my knowledge the issue with these fake cards whether in Windows, Linux or macOS is that due to not being able to flash the GPU bios with a replacement bios the card will always identify as the wrong product for graphics drivers. As there is no correct bios in these false cards, even if you could flash the card with a bios, you might actually damage the card if the bios is incorrect.
I would stay clear of an actual 'fake' GT750Ti, unless you wish to experiment for your own enjoyment and interest. Genuine used GT750Ti cards can be found on AliExpress. A fresh installation of thermal paste would be a sensible idea

I understand that 'many' fake cards have a bios that cannot be re-flashed. If you were able to get an old 550Ti running in Windows, there is no guarantee that getting it running in macOS would be possible.
A basic GT710 should work or if you need a bit more graphics power then you can either find a used compatible card or get a GT1030 with GDDR5 RAM.

How much are used CPUs in your area, can you find a cost effective 13 processor with supported integrated graphics?
